I am grateful to have faced those challenges initially that led me back to the classroom from the corporate world. This has allowed me to make the most of my free time and opened new doors for further career growth.

The Student Affairs team at Penn State World Campus — in collaboration with our many colleagues and partners across the University’s Student Affairs teams — has launched a new podcast called “Conversations with Student Affairs.”

There are many reasons why students decide to attend classes online rather than in person. Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen the importance of having the ability to participate in activities from home for safety and health reasons.

Academic advisers support students as they begin their Penn State World Campus journey and are there as a resource through graduation.

Students seeking a way to gain valuable work experience and develop critical skills that employers need may want to explore opportunities with the Virtual Student Federal Service (VSFS).

Juneteenth refers to June 19, 1865, the date that Major General Gordon Granger, who fought for the Union, informed slaves in Galveston, Texas, that they had been freed.
