I am an active-duty soldier who works in Retention for the U.S. Army Reserves and am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Finance at Penn State World Campus.

You can now listen to Episode 3 of “Conversations with Student Affairs,” the podcast managed by the Student Affairs team at Penn State World Campus in collaboration with our many colleagues and partners across the University’s Student Affairs teams.

I am grateful to have faced those challenges initially that led me back to the classroom from the corporate world. This has allowed me to make the most of my free time and opened new doors for further career growth.

Penn State World Campus students now have an opportunity to connect with peers who share common identity-related experiences, backgrounds, and concerns.

The Student Affairs team at Penn State World Campus — in collaboration with our many colleagues and partners across the University’s Student Affairs teams — has launched a new podcast called “Conversations with Student Affairs.”

I completed four semesters, but during the fifth, unexpected family issues arose, and I was unable to finish my degree.

“Conversations with Student Affairs” is managed and produced by the Student Affairs team at Penn State World Campus in collaboration with our many colleagues and partners across the University’s Student Affairs teams.

During these troubling times caused by COVID-19, many small businesses have closed. Our economy is so dependent on these local businesses because they provide resources, services, and employment to most of our population.

There are many reasons why students decide to attend classes online rather than in person. Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen the importance of having the ability to participate in activities from home for safety and health reasons.

Academic advisers support students as they begin their Penn State World Campus journey and are there as a resource through graduation.
