This course is part of the Certificate in Family Literacy which can be obtained entirely online and is awarded upon successful completion of four courses, for a total of 12 credits. Course credits may apply toward a Penn State master's degree in adult education. Penn State is a fully accredited university, and credits are likely to apply toward a bachelor's or master's degree program at other institutions.  Penn State is also an Act 48-approved provider for Pennsylvania educators so credits may count toward professional development hours.
