This graduate certificate is one of three stackable credentials in the Master of Science in Information Science program. These certificates can help you improve your skill set and résumé right now and can also be used to meet some of the requirements for a master's degree from Penn State.
- Business Process Integration (9 credits)
- Cyber Threat Analytics and Prevention (12 credits)
- IT Analytics (9 credits)
You will need to apply to each individual certificate program, but you will receive an application fee waiver for any additional applications if you've already been accepted into the master's degree program or one of the other certificates associated with the program.
Up to 15 credits earned in any of these certificate programs may be transferred to the master's degree in information science, subject to restrictions outlined in GCAC-309 Transfer Credit.
Earning Your Master’s Degree
Once you successfully complete all of the stackable certificates and your program capstone, you will have fulfilled the requirements of the Master of Science in Information Science.
