This event will be led by Anne Jennison, a traditional Native American storyteller and historian of European and Abenaki heritage. Jennison’s Native American traditional storytelling performance will begin with an overview of the history of the Wabanaki Tribes and examples of Abenaki/Wabanaki storytelling traditions. Participants will then hear a series of traditional Abenaki (Wabanaki) stories followed by an informal Q&A. Prepare for an interactive storytelling experience filled with humor, drama, and moments of wonder.
