Based on the Eight Dimensions of Wellness by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), this session will focus on the Occupational Dimension and include relaxed conversations about personal satisfaction and enrichment from one's work.
Join Penn State World Campus Student Affairs to reflect on various factors outside of physical health that affect wellness and learn tips for gaining life balance as a busy student.
Students need not have attended previous sessions of the series to join.
This ongoing fall semester series will combine:
- TIPS and tools that help students find wellness and be able to balance life
- TALKS with students and organizations that promote self-care education and resource awareness, develop team and leadership skills, enhance abilities to balance all of life’s dimensions, and foster a Penn State World Campus commUNITY culture
- TAKE HOMES that embrace the whole-health, academic, community, social, and professional dimensions of life
Presented by Mental Health and Well-Being Services, these sessions will provide options to help build and maintain a unique balance in life as well as include self-action tools.
