ANGEL is Penn State’s online course environment, where you will access your syllabi, course lessons, grades, class discussions, and more.
Once you receive your user ID and password (after you have created your Penn State Access Account), you can log into ANGEL. You will be able to view your course(s) after 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) on the first day of your course. Learn more about how ANGEL works by viewing the following tutorials.
Using the Dropbox
You’ll use the dropbox for turning in assignments for your courses.

You’ll use ANGEL’s email tool (which is different from your Penn State email account) to communicate and share documents with classmates and your instructor.

You’ll be able to complete quizzes online using ANGEL’s quiz tool.
Viewing Your Syllabus in ANGEL
Your syllabus contains valuable information that you need to do well in your course, including materials required, overview of the course, and technical requirements for completing projects.
Using the "What’s New" Tool
The “What’s New” tool is a convenient way to find all the latest happenings in your course—including emails and discussion posts.
