When it comes to animals, dogs always seem to think I’m one of their clan!  So although I don’t have one of my own, I don’t mind being an “uncle” or babysitter of sorts for my friends’ and family members’ dogs.

I am always amused by dry, subtle humor or something cheesy.

You might be surprised to know I’m a roller coaster junkie!  I love traveling to different amusement parks to ride the greatest, fastest, and tallest. I’ve ridden at least one coaster in every world Top 10 category (and in some cases, as many as four coasters or the best in the world).  

As silly as it may sound, on weekends I love puttering around and catching up on housework, cooking, and daily chores that tend to go by the wayside during the work week. It’s a refreshing change to do some “mindless” work and let my mind go.

The best advice I ever received was from my ninth-grade English teacher, Mr. Jim Scharrer: “If you can’t do anything about it, don’t worry about it!”
