The greatest influences in my life have been the family and friends I have been blessed with over the years. They’ve been with me for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.

I am a bit of a card shark. I love to play poker, and have won a few small tournaments.

I can't imagine life without sports. Football, by far, is number one, but I like almost all other sports. Track and field is a big love, along with soccer, lacrosse, golf, baseball — almost anything except basketball. I’ve been a Dallas Cowboys fan since the old days, and love our hometown minor league baseball team, the State College Spikes.

If the TV is on, I'm probably watching NCIS or the Food Network. But on Thursday evenings, I’m glued to The Big Bang Theory — it’s hilarious!

My favorite quote is from Christopher Robin to Winnie the Pooh: "Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
