About Me

Hometown: Bellefonte, Pennsylvania
Alma Mater: University of Houston, University of Wisconsin-Stout, Penn State
Penn Stater since: 1998

I love getting to know new students and helping them realize their academic dreams.

My inspiration was my first professor in my master’s program, who helped me understand that I could return to college after many years and be successful.

I never get tired of watching The Wizard of Oz. I think it’s a great moral message: everything we need is in our own backyard, and it’s been there all along.

The Penn State tradition that never gets old is when the drum major at our football games does a flip and a split on the 50-yard line and then salutes the crowd. I get chills of pride every time!

My radio is always tuned to NPR ― I’m an NPR junkie!

My sweet tooth indulgence is dark chocolate ― the darker, the better.

Words I live by: “Be the change that you want to see in the world.” I know this Gandhi quote is overused, but I do believe it.

Office Hours: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m Monday through Friday (Eastern Time)
