About Me
My favorite quote is one by Dr. J. Schulenberg, and it’s very fitting to the role of an adviser: “Tell me your dreams, and I’ll help you create the recipe.”
I have a collection of National Geographic magazines that I inherited from my grandmother. It spans from the 1940s through the 1980s, and I’ve been adding to it since 1995.
My favorite place to connect with nature is Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee.
If I want a laugh, I can always count on David Sedaris. My best friend gave me Me Talk Pretty One Day as a gift, and warned me not to read it in public, as my sudden outbursts of hysterical laughter would make me look crazy. She was right — it is just that funny.
The TV show I would rush home to watch is Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations. Not only has it given me an excuse to use the word “snarky” in my everyday vocabulary, but it has fed my desire to learn more about the world around me.
