About Me

Hometown:
Mechanicville, New York
Alma Mater:
Penn State
Penn Stater since:
1975, but a fan since the 1960s!
It is very rewarding to hear students’ success stories and know that I played a small part in helping them get their degrees.
You might be surprised to know that I rode to the bottom of the Grand Canyon on a mule in 2005. And back up again!
I can really identify with adult learners. I was out of school for 17 years before returning for my master’s degree.
My favorite Penn State tradition is seeing the drum major do his flip before a Penn State football game — especially since my son was the drum major for three years, and my daughter played the baritone. I love the whole Blue Band pregame show!
The best part about being a Penn Stater is the pride that people show in being affiliated with Penn State — the loyalty!!
