My greatest influence was my graduate school adviser, Dr. Mark Bauman. He has a great “helping” personality and projects a sense of trust. Everyone who knows Dr. Bauman feels comfortable discussing anything with him.

My favorite quote is, “Anything worth having is never easy.” 

As a sports fan, I always root for the Yankees. And, of course, Penn State!

In my spare time, I love to read. I am currently working on completing the 1001 Books to Read Before You Die list. I’m only 9 percent done, so I’ve got a lot of reading to do!
