Alpha Sigma Lambda Scholarship Information

Alpha Sigma Lambda will award nine $2,000 scholarships at the national level for the 2013–14 academic year.

Two applicants are selected by our Pi Delta Chi committee as candidates for the Alpha Sigma Lambda Adult Student Foundation Scholarship. Their names are forwarded to the national Alpha Sigma Lambda chapter for further consideration. Winners are chosen and announced in June.

Who May Apply

To be eligible, students must:

  • be enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program through World Campus, Continuing Education at University Park, or resident instruction at University Park
  • be currently taking World Campus, Continuing Education at University Park, or resident instruction classes toward your program of study
  • have at least one full calendar year of course work remaining in your program of study
  • have completed at least 30 semester hours through World Campus, Continuing Education at University Park, or resident instruction (not counting transfer credits) through fall 2012
  • have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
  • be 24 years of age or older by April 30, 2013

Please note: You do not have to be a member of Pi Delta Chi or Alpha Sigma Lambda to apply for a scholarship.

How to Apply

Alpha Sigma Lambda is no longer accepting applications for the 2013-14 scholarships. Students may apply for the 2014-15 ASL scholarships starting in January 2014. Once the application materials are available, we will post them on this page.
