How to Register
- Before you begin, you will need to register as a new user with ALEKS on the ALEKS webpage.
- Enter the course code from the Registration Course Codes table below for your starting level.
- Confirm your course information (Math 1 Content/Basic Math/Prep-WD/Pennsylvania State University).
- Click on “Purchase an Access Code Online” and follow the instructions to pay with a credit card.
- Complete the registration process. You will now be ready to have a quick tutorial.

You Will Need an ALEKS Browser Plug-in
In order to use ALEKS, you’ll need to install a plug-in to your web browser (Explorer, Firefox, Safari, or Chrome). The plug-in is only active when you are logged on to ALEKS, and it does not affect your computer other than allowing you to use ALEKS. For more information, visit the ALEKS system requirements page.
